I am happy to note that Dr. Anita Baruah Sarmah College of Education is one of the pioneer institutions, which has been providing teaching training to all the students of Arts, Science & Commerce graduates since 2004. This has helped in increased number of trained teachers in the state.

It is indeed very encouraging that the institute has given emphasis to produce post graduate in Education since 2016. As we know that teacher education is emphasized by NEP 2020 and is essential for development of professional competency at different stages of education from elementary level to secondary school level, the institution too corroborates to its ideals which is based on five guiding pillars of Access, Equity, Quality, Affordability and Accountability.

We believe that the institution will give further impetus to the movement of teacher education by making it affordable and accessible to all.

I complement NERIM Group of Institutions for this noble gesture and call upon students to make utmost use of this programme by getting admission in the B.Ed course. I wish the students great success in the professional training and future course of action.
